Mt. Haast

Especially if you are not following all the time Lonely Planet you will found the most amzing hikes almost for you alone. So was Mountain Haast (about 1550 m). A steep "climb" in a forest, spending some nice shadow and a incredible view on the top with the highest mountains of NZ in the back.

Cathedral cove, Geysir, Pancakes

New Zealand is famous for its various geographical landscapes. Even overcrowded places like the Cathedral cove are stunning objects for us hardcore traveller :-) The picture of the pancakes rocks are not unique for the Westcoast here on the Southisland. The whole coast is showing a nice scenario with its little sistas (rock formations) in the water.
